The story was playful and completely outrageous. While appearing to be a game for all ages, it subtly touched on topics ranging from pedophelia to homosexuality to murder. To really understand the humor and writing style, you would have to play the game for yourself.

Lately, however, the gaming scene has gone in two directions. Arcade and hardcore. It seems that most games are either arcade style (Angry Birds, Wii Sports, etc) or hardcore (Call of Duty, Fallout, Skyrim). For the ultra casual or ultra serious.

What I would like to see/make is a game that is accesible to a broad audience while mixing in more serious gameplay and story elements. Maybe the only controls are [move left], [move right], and [interact]. The story would have multiple characters with a lot of character development including betrayal, deception, love, etc.

In the perfect world, it would have a story like Final Fantasy with the humor and atmosphere of Earthbound with the graphic style of Terraria with the platforming precision of Super Mario Bros 3.

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.theeddyadams.com/blog/wammbamm.html"><rss:title>WAMMBAMM!</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.theeddyadams.com/blog/wammbamm.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject></dc:subject>

The last couple months have been full of WAMMBAMM. WAMMBAMM is the continuation of the company I'm currently working at, Lustre Communications. We have spent hours working on the logo, website, company image, color swatches, and everything else involved with starting a new company. On top of this, we're moving to a new office space at the end of this week. From the heart of downtown Seattle to Capitol Hill. A welcomed change for all of us.

So expect to hear about some new projects we'll be working on in the coming months!

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.theeddyadams.com/blog/ch-ch-ch-changes.html"><rss:title>Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes!</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.theeddyadams.com/blog/ch-ch-ch-changes.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject></dc:subject>

It's been some time since I've posted here. The last few months have been busy - full of changes. For one, I graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and have now moved from a small apartment in the University District to a much larger house out in Madison. I'm still stationed at Lustre Communications and as I am "allowed", I will continue posting more work to my work page. Hopefully I can put up that Speed intro one of these days.

As for this website, I plan on doing another overhaul once the new version of Squarespace goes live. The overall look should remain similar, but the core architecture should be a little slicker so I can customize and update content with less hassle.

Can't wait!

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.theeddyadams.com/blog/major-project-brewing.html"><rss:title>Major Project Brewing</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.theeddyadams.com/blog/major-project-brewing.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject></dc:subject>

And I'm not talking about Seattle's Best Coffee.

For some wild reason (unknown to me), I have decided to make a web service...with an accompanying iPhone app. Possibly a Mac app, as well. The project/idea is all about tracking. Not in the GPS coordinates sense of the word, but in the life-tracking way. If everything goes as planned, it will be incredibly fun and addictive and make me a millionare. Worst-case scenario: I learn how to code for the iPhone/Mac.

I don't know how secretive I will be during my development phases. Ideally, transparency will prevail, but I don't want too many of my ideas floating around before I even have a working prototype.

So sit tight and I will keep you updated on my progress.

And if you know any iPhone developers, I wouldn't mind a little advising :)

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.theeddyadams.com/blog/work-page-now-live.html"><rss:title>Work page now live!</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.theeddyadams.com/blog/work-page-now-live.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject></dc:subject>

The planets have finally aligned and I found the time and patience to put together a work page.
